Trainee Test Engineer IRC200782

GlobalLogic is inviting a Test Engineer to join our engineering team.

Our customer is a world leading provider of 4G/5G chips and modules for IoT market. Within a Product Validation team, you will contribute to the design and development of system regression tests and testing of the customer’s 4G and 5G solutions. Product Validation team is responsible to define and establish the methodology and the environment for an efficient system level testing.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of software testing techniques and methodologies
• Experience in Linux (or other Unix-based) OS
• Knowledge of the computer networks and network protocols (TCP/IP)
• Intermediate English or above

Desired skills:

• Experience with testing/developing for embedded system will be a major plus
• Knowledge of one or several scripting or programming languages (C++/Python/Ruby/Java, etc.)
• Understanding of principles of different SDLCs

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the definition of the test specifications
  Participate in test execution and bug reporting
  Participate in the analysis and diagnosis of regular system regression tests
