GlobalLogic is inviting a C/C++ Engineer to join our engineering team.

The client is a Swiss multinational industrial company – one of the world's leading providers of elevators and escalators. It produces, installs, maintains and modernizes industrial equipment in many construction sites of their customers.

GlobalLogic team is continuously developing solutions according to high-quality standards, evolving in systems that guarantee safety and highly efficient and energy-saving device management.

GlobalLogic clients team is continuously growing and now we will help customers in New Generation solutions based on the Linux platform

Requirements:

• 4+ years of software engineering and development experience
• Advanced shell scripting expertise (bash, sh, other)
• Hands-on experience in Linux system configuration and system bring up including the systemd subsystem
• Experience with software DevOps build, packaging, and continuous integration concepts
• Basic network administration and Linux network configuration and performance tuning
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networks and network protocols
• Experience in IoT would be a big plus
• Strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop gateway applications for elevator control;
• Develop/configure Linux components and system-level patches for customer's internal distributives.
