GlobalLogic is inviting Trainee Network Test Engineer to join the team.

About the project: The product is a firmware for residential gateways. Firmware is running on the Linux operating system.

Requirements:

Required:

• Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack, understanding of OSI model and most common communication protocols (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, HTTPS, ARP)
• Proficient Linux user
• Experience in Linux and networks administration
• Good written and spoken English
• Accurate and responsible
• Ability to learn quickly and grow in the technical area

Preferred:

• Experience in QA
• Basic Knowledge of Wi-Fi networks and standards
• Python knowledge

Responsibilities:

• Participate in functional, non-functional, stress, stability, and regression testing, writing test reports by using existing testing base.
• Technical specification analysis, technical requirements review, creating the test cases.
• Creating an environment for the testing process, doing fixes verifications.
