GlobalLogic  is inviting a  Java Developer   to join our engineering team.

The client is the market leader in streaming entertainment devices and operates the most popular TV streaming platform in the USA. They strive to provide users with high-quality products and services, therefore quality and enhancements are essential parts of each and every project. 
Client's streaming players and services make millions of users happy by connecting them with the content they enjoy. Users from North America, Latin America, and some European countries can already get their favorite content in the most convenient way.

Content testing department: Manual and semi-automatic testing of films, tv-series, live TV channels, and other video content for compliance with technical requirements, namely: quality of the video, audio, and metadata. 

Requirements:

We are looking for a Java Developer with 2+ years of commercial experience in the development.

Important to have:

• Strong knowledge of data structures, dependency injection;
• Strong understanding of Microservices, API testing, working with Postman;
• Hands-on experience of working with REST;
• Experience with AWS services would be highly beneficial (Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS);
• Troubleshooting skills (application monitoring, debugging, profiling);
• Git;
• Strong English for daily communication with client experts and team members across the Globe.

Good to have:

• SQL and No-SQL databases experience

Ability to work from the Lviv's office.

Responsibilities:

• Extending the current microservices and creating new services for existing solution;
• Preparing the technical documentation;
• Participating in client meetings to understand business and user requirements and estimate tasks;
• Collaborating closely with other engineers, product owners and testers to identify and solve challenging problems;
• Taking part in defect investigation, bug fixing, troubleshooting;
