Senior Demand Planning and Information Manager is a key role within Ukrainian organization to realize the following:
- Market opportunities / threats are properly captured OTIF and shared with relevant departments, support provided for opportunity translation into clear action plan
- Robust marketing planning process is on place to align all relevant functions. The key aim is to deliver proper product in sufficient quantity to our consumer and thus secure BAT competitive position in sales and share
- Talent pipeline is developed for both SP&I and other MRKT subfunctions.
Senior Demand Planning Manager role acts as the custodian of SOP process, annual marketing planning and reporting on EM level also connecting EM with above market processes, ensures effectiveness, accuracy and alignment within the Area.
- Lead EM SOP process management
- Roll-out of best practices in Planning / Info (cooperation with other EMs)
- Oversee the analysis of economic situation, market trends and consumer behavior and translate this into valuable input into planning process
- Provide marketing team with internal and external (available) marketing information to assist informed decision making
- Act as Information and analytical hub for all marketing-related information requests in relation to end market.
- Ensure availability of all relevant and required marketing information to meet business needs.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Within SEE area cooperation
- Support Ukraine Business Review process
- Drive Ukraine performance review
- Own Ukraine volume forecast and provide it to all relevant parties as per the business review cycle schedule;
- Provide robust performance analysis, identifying relevant market / competitors / consumers / macroeconomics / regulatory drivers. Empower Area Head of Forecasting and Planning to recommend relevant actions for UA and decisions to ALT and SOP forum.
- Manage OTIF delivery of regular reporting from End Market
Own Forecasting / Modelling
- Drive forecasting / modelling capabilities improvement in the area
- Support market sizing / market modelling acting as an expert / consultant
- Provide robust explanations for various scenarios for EM forecast through continuous cooperation with relevant functions
- Deliver Analysis and Insights
- Drive analytical capabilities improvement to deliver actionable insights
- Develop analytical frameworks / regular analysis, which enables performance monitoring and identifying risks / opportunities
- Ensure high quality and insights from marketing reporting
- Act as custodian of marketing information sources and analysis results to ensure quality and accuracy, provide required information and easy and quick access
- Lead the continuous improvements in marketing information reporting, minimizing of manual data crunching and reporting workload for the team
- Manage the marketing information ad-hoc requests flow, ensure that the required results are achieved with the minimal resources engaged;
- Ensure high-quality analysis on industry and BAT performance (qualitative and quantitative)
- Ensure guardianship of all related database systems, protocols, platforms and reporting, continuous availability of information to support the marketing planning process (incl. competition knowledge management, internal marketing sources information management)
- Ensure security of the information.
Drive the annual performance review:
- Identify key wins, shortfalls, & learnings, and providing insights on the cycle planning issues
- Identify Business Unit opportunities
- Drive the strategic & operational planning process
- Contribute to the development of 2-3 year marketing strategy
- Ensure brand & trade area objectives are aligned & consistent with Regional Strategy
- Ensure alignment between brand & trade programs
- Design working process flow and define respective participants and objectives
- Facilitate discussion on brand and trade programmes (objectives, activities, schedule, resources), recommend solutions in case of cycle conflicts e.g. prioritize programs in order to ensure optimal performance
- Challenge proposed cycle activities to ensure focus on marketing objectives, and to drive increased effectiveness and efficiency in achieving objectives
Oversee marketing cycle activity development and evaluation process
- Ensure that clear goals and KPI’s set for brand and trade programmes, and touchpoints, and track ongoing results (i.e. evaluation of marketing activities/ channels/ regions)
- Ensure the program evaluation process as part of cycle planning is carried out efficiently
