About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager for acquiring new B2B clients, building a stable pipeline, negotiating commercial terms, and ensuring long-term cooperation.
This role works closely with operations but is accountable for sales results.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
Identify and approach potential clients in import/export segments
Conduct meetings and present logistics solutions
Prepare commercial proposals in coordination with pricing and operations
Negotiate rates, terms, and contracts
Close deals and ensure structured handover to operations
Portfolio Growth
Develop assigned accounts and expand cooperation scope
Increase shipment volume and revenue per client
Monitor profitability of signed contracts
Market Focus
Track market pricing and competitor activity
Identify segments with growth potential
Maintain a structured sales pipeline and forecasting discipline
Qualifications
Experience in freight forwarding sales or solid understanding of international transportation processes
Proven record of meeting sales targets
Ability to negotiate commercial terms with mid-sized and corporate clients
Strong communication and presentation skills
Structured approach to pipeline management and reporting
