Accountant

The Role
In this role, you will apply your accounting expertise to manage large volumes of financial data, ensuring accuracy in daily reconciliations, payroll entries, and financial reporting. You will work closely with the HR, Treasury, and Accounting teams to investigate discrepancies, resolve complex issues, and deliver reliable financial insights. Leveraging your knowledge of ERP systems and Excel, you will help maintain the integrity of our accounting records while supporting the broader financial operations of the company with diligence and attention to detail.

About You

• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a fast-paced or fintech environment.

• Comfortable working with large volumes of financial data and records.

• Proficient in Excel, including advanced functions for data analysis and reconciliation.

• Solid understanding of core accounting principles.

• Skilled in analyzing data and trends to identify inconsistencies, anomalies, or areas for improvement.

• Strong business acumen and familiarity with ERP systems and financial software.

• Capable of investigating and resolving complex accounting issues with a detail-oriented approach.

• Clear and effective communication skills

• High level of stress tolerance, reliability, and the ability to manage workload independently.

• Meticulous, disciplined, and consistently diligent in maintaining data integrity.

 Your daily tasks will include

• Maintain accurate accounting records, post journal entries, track financial transactions, and ensure data integrity in ERP systems.

• Perform daily reconciliations of bank accounts, wallets, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

• Collaborate with HR and Treasury to verify payroll data, prepare payroll-related journal entries, and respond to inquiries.

• Update and analyze consolidated cash flow reports and support preparation of P&L report components.

• Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related questions from Accounting, HR, and Treasury departments.

• Analyze financial data, assist with reporting tasks, and participate in sync calls with internal teams two to three times per week.
