Copywriter
Fishing Planet game studio is a group of talented and dedicated people, who created a successful F2P game from scratch that is now available on 6 platforms — Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation, Xbox and Mobile — both iOS and Android. As for now our community has over 25 million players from all over the world and keeps growing. We constantly improve our game and provide our team with resources and environment needed to foster stable, rewarding and life-long careers while developing the best hardware-can-provide experience and atmosphere of fishing for our players.
Now we are seeking a creative and imaginative individual for the Copywriter position to create and manage content for our game. If you have a knack for writing, possess professional-level English skills, and are interested in the game development industry, then our position might be a great opportunity for you.
Your Impact:
- Create, proofread, and polish engaging and concise ingame texts (including, but not limited to, locations and items descriptions, player instructions, and events).
- Maintain the style and atmosphere of the game through textual content.
- Perform linguistic quality assurance of content.
- Manage the localization of new content, inputting it into the game via admin panels for different game platforms.
- Oversee translators, proofread translated content for multilingual content preparation.
- Glossary development.
You will bring:
- High proficiency in English.
- Attention to details.
- Creativity and the ability to create compelling, sophisticated text.
- Familiarity with AI-driven tools for content creation, localization and proofreading.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage a large amount of information.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced game development environment.
- A team-oriented mindset with the ability to process feedback efficiently and responsibly.
- Experience with web-admin tools and managing content across multiple platforms.
Will be a plus:
- Passion for fishing and console/PC games.
- Understanding of gaming platforms and game development pipelines.
