Fresenius Medical Care Ukraine is the Ukrainian representative of the world's leading supplier of dialysis products and dialysis services for vital medical care for people with chronic and acute kidney failure.
We are currently looking for an IFRS Accountant for temporary employment due to the mobilization of an employee
Main tasks:
- Manages the process of financial closing of the month, quarter, and year, as well as the preparation of reporting packages according to FME policy.
- Creates and uses in work a transformation table from the local trial balance to IFRS accounts, analyzes accounts and subaccounts, journal entries, and other documentation for the correct representation of financial information in reporting packages used by FME.
- Reviews the accuracy of the information entered regarding existing and new accounts, centers of financial responsibility.
- Conducts mutual verification of account balances for intercompany transactions in relation to the local organization, properly ensuring the quality of information in business segments.
- Ensures effective communication regarding errors identified during month-end and quarter-end financial closing procedures between the Company and FME structural units, such as the Global Standard Operations Center.
- In interaction with business partners and other information users, ensures the provision of certain statistical information determined by the needs of the Company and FME.
- Ensures the uploading of reporting packages to the information database, resolves related technical issues that may arise when using such electronic databases. Ensures the timely provision of reporting packages according to pre-defined deadlines, their correct uploading, and timely distribution of information.
- Supports the process of preparing the report on controlled transactions for transfer pricing for submission to the state tax service within the established deadlines. Ensures, if necessary, the involvement of consultants, and exchanges with them the information required for the preparation of the report.
Qualifications, experience, know-how and skills critical for success -
-work experience from 5 years
- higher education in the field of economics , finance or related fields
- ability to work in a team and manage multitasking projects
- Ukrainian and English – upper intermediate as a must (presenting, writing, reading)
- 1C, Excel- working for an international company with international standards will be a plus
