Deputy Сhief Accountant

Pwrteams is looking for a Deputy Chief Accountant to join our Finance Team in Lviv. We are looking for an experienced and self-organized, professional and highly motivated candidate.

The ideal candidate is proactive and intellectually curious, possesses the capability to work independently, strong attention to detail, exceptional analytical skills, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices. You understand that the decisions people make are only as good as the information they have and accurate, clean books are imperative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and consolidate the company’s accounting books in accordance with the law and local legislation,
• Execute tax accounting in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine;
• Preparation and submission of mandatory reporting: tax, financial, statistical, etc;
• Control over the correctness of primary documents, their accurate and timely reflection in the accounting records;
• Preparation of advance reports, closing of accounting periods,
• Quarterly preparation of PE tax reports,
• Be part of company projects, monitor and update on changes in the legislation of Ukraine,
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as required,
• Identify opportunities for automation and implement best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of national standards, tax regulations, and other accounting principles and standards
• Proficiency with accounting software and financial reporting tools (1C BAS, Artzvit, electronic cabinet, client-banks)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Strong attention to details and ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others at all levels of the organization
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial software applications.
• English level minimum B1
