Head of Controlling / Financial Controller
Our client is an international manufacturing company operating in a complex, high-volume production environment with a large number of SKUs. Following a period of recovery, the business is now actively growing, and we are looking for a strong Head of Controlling / Financial Controller to strengthen the finance function, ensure transparency of financial data, and support operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end financial controlling processes: budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Lead and develop a team of 2-3 employees
- Ensure accurate product costing in a complex manufacturing environment
- Analyze production costs (raw materials, labor, overheads) and identify optimization opportunities
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of data in SAP
- Prepare management reporting and provide financial insights to support decision-making
- Drive automation and efficiency improvements in reporting processes (Excel and other tools)
- Act as a business partner to production and cross-functional teams
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Head of Controlling in a manufacturing company
- Strong expertise in cost accounting (complex production, high SKU volume is a must)
- Hands-on experience with SAP
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling)
- English is a must
- Strong analytical mindset and result-oriented approach
