Офіційна резиденція США в Києві шукає талановитого шеф-кухаря. Ви будете готувати для дипломатичної родини, а також для вишуканих офіційних заходів та прийомів.

ЩО ПРОПОНУЮТЬ: $1500 на місяць. Робота в престижній локації з найвищими стандартами комфорту, медичне страхування, оплачувана відпустка, лікарняні, та бонуси.

Ця робота не є працевлаштуванням у Посольстві США. Трудова угода укладається з Главою місії (COM) і діє протягом усього періоду перебування Глави місії на посаді в Києві.

ГРАФІК: 40 годин на тиждень (інколи робота у вечірні години на заходах).

АНГЛІЙСЬКА ВЕРСІЯ:

The Official Residence of the US Mission in Kyiv is looking for a talented chef to prepare meals for the diplomatic family as well as for elegant official events and receptions.

WHAT THEY OFFER:    $1,500 per month. Work in a prestigious location with the highest standards of comfort, health insurance, paid vacation, sick leave, and bonuses.

This position is not U.S. Government employment. The work agreement is with the Chief of Mission (COM) and is valid for the duration of the COM’s assignment in Kyiv.

SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week (sometimes working evening hours at events).

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Propose, plan, and prepare menus for a broad range of diplomatic representational events. Events may include full-service formal diplomatic dinners, lunches, or breakfasts; receptions; or smaller events including coffee and/or drink service.   
• Professional, original, and elegant food and beverage preparation, plating, and presentation that meets formal diplomatic standards.
• Creative menu planning that includes food and beverage components and caters to a full range of dietary preferences for the broad range of events planned and orchestrated at the official residence.
• Meal planning and preparation for a diplomatic family. 
• Managing residence calendars and supervising event staff, sometimes working as part of a larger team to execute events.
• Shopping, stock management, and kitchen hygiene.

 WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Culinary Pro: Ability to cook various cuisines and follow recipes in English/Ukrainian. Ability and willingness to learn new recipes and to think creatively about culinary diplomacy opportunities. Skilled in elegant presentation.
• Manager: Experience running a kitchen for large events.
• Communicator: Good command of English (reading/writing) to read recipe is preferred.
• Standards: Strict commitment to food safety and sanitation
