Mid+ Full-stack Developer (Java/Angular)

About the project:

We’re working with a leading client in the automotive industry to modernize and transform legacy systems. 

The project focuses on migrating existing legacy .NET/Java applications to Java and deploying them to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP, GKE).
This is a full-time, remote position within a highly collaborative international team.

Key responsibilities:

• Refactor and upgrade legacy .NET/Java applications to modern Java-based solutions
• Design, implement, and deploy microservices to Google Cloud (GCP GKE)
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity and code quality
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Cloud, Product) to ensure smooth delivery and integration

Required skills and experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java, including Spring and Hibernate
• 5+ years of experience developing and integrating APIs and Web Services
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Angular and core web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript)
• 2+ years of experience with Cloud environments (preferably GCP), Kubernetes and Docker
• Strong background in relational databases, especially PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server
• Practical experience using AI tools for software development (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor or similar)
• English B1 or higher

Nice to have:

• Commercial experience with .NET (C#) – a strong advantage
