Sybase / T-SQL Developer (Banking)

Remote (UK time) | Full-time

About the Project:

Join our banking IT team maintaining core Sybase databases for financial transactions, reporting and customer systems. Focus on performance optimization, new features and integrations for banking apps.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize Sybase DB objects (tables, views, procs, triggers) and T-SQL queries.
• Tune performance, support applications, resolve production incidents.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, QA

Requirements:

• Sybase commercial experience 3+ years
• T-SQ commercial experience 3+ years
• Practical experience using AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for coding and query optimization.
• Strong analytical skills and teamwork.
• Banking/finance experience preferred.
• English B2+
