IT Business Analyst
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) who is skilled in gathering business requirements and has a foundational understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) processes. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business needs and technical teams, while also contributing to ensuring the quality of the delivered solution through basic testing tasks.
Main direction – Automotive industry. Remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories that can be easily understood by the development team.
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders to review project progress, clarify requirements, and adjust priorities as needed.
- Work with the project team to identify business and system improvements, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Support the development team during the implementation phase to ensure the solution meets the business objectives.
- Create and execute test plans and test cases to ensure that software functionality meets business requirements you described during BA phase.
- Perform manual functional testing.
- Identify, log, and follow up on defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) by coordinating with stakeholders to ensure the final product is delivered at high quality.
Required Skills:
- Working as a Business Analyst in IT projects 3+ years of experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and experience working within Agile environments.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Understanding of basic QA activities, including writing test plans, performing manual testing, and reporting defects.
- Proficient in documenting business processes, requirements, and test scenarios.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence and basic test management tools.
- English level B2 or higher (Upper-Intermediate), with strong written and verbal communication.
