We are looking for a Junior Technical Support Specialist to join a Canadian hosting platform.
If you’re at the beginning of your IT career and want to gain hands-on experience in a real production environment, this could be a great opportunity for you.
- Full-time, remote, long-term position (equipment is provided)
- Working schedule: Monday—Friday, 15:30–00:00 (Kyiv time)
Please note that a technical task is part of the interview process.
Requirements:
- Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking
- A customer-focused mindset and attention to detail
- Upper-Intermediate level of English (both spoken and written)
- Basic understanding of how support processes and escalations work
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)
- Basic command-line skills in Windows and/or Linux
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer questions and help resolve their issues
- Assist with troubleshooting web hosting, email, DNS, and basic database issues
- Support users with web platform applications
- Help set up mail clients and resolve login or access problems
- Follow support guidelines and keep customers updated on progress
- Handle several support requests at the same time (with guidance from the team)
- Provide Tier 1–2 support and escalate more complex issues when needed
