Test Task
Project Description:
Providing technical support for a large client in the hosting sector. Support covers shared hosting environments, including issues with: Email, Websites, Databases, DNS, Hosting control panels (in-house, cPanel, Plesk).
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer requests
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to web, email, DNS, and databases
- Assist with hosting platform applications
- Configure and troubleshoot mail clients and access issues
- Follow and update support procedures
- Manage multiple active support cases
- Provide Tier 1–2 support, escalating complex issues
- Create and maintain internal guides and FAQs
Requirements:
- Strong troubleshooting and logical thinking skills
- Attention to detail and customer-oriented mindset
- Upper-Intermediate English (written & spoken)
- Familiarity with support workflows and escalation logic
- Basic knowledge of: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, Networking
- Basic command-line experience in Windows & Linux
- Ability to work night shifts
