The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced English Teacher as a contractor (up to 8 hours per week) who will be responsible for guiding and mentoring our crew members in Ukraine and other European locations to improve their English skills. This will enable them to communicate better with the global team and our partners.

Qualifications 

• Fluent English (C1-C2) is a must;

• University degree in English Teaching/English Language and Literature/ English Philology; Or Internationally recognized  certificate in ELT  (e.g., CELTA, DELTA);

• 2+ years experience in teaching adults of different levels (600+ teaching hours);

• At least 1 year of experience in teaching Business English or English for IT;

• Experience in teaching groups of adult students online;

• Experience in course development (lesson plans, homework tasks and tests);

• Ability to work independently and in a team;

• Readiness to share ideas and knowledge with colleagues and to provide assistance if needed;

• Openness to a variety of teaching methods and approaches;

• Excellent presentation and communication skills;

• Positive and creative.

Responsibilities

• Conducting online classes;

• Teaching scheduled lessons to groups of adults using the communicative approach alongside interactive activities and gamification;

• Strong focusing on speaking practice and development of communication skills in English;

• Emphasizing the development of fluency and confidence in spoken language;

• Developing domain-oriented language courses for levels from Intermediate to Advanced based on needs analyses (lesson plans, homework tasks, regular tests and final tests);

• Designing educational materials;

• Providing feedback on homework and other assignments.
