Mechanical Design Engineer (Autodesk Inventor)

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer, working in Lviv, Ukraine. The candidate must be willing to travel to the EU/North America (short trips after the end of the war).

The format is that EU company provides a sketch or model of the apparatus/machine together with a description of functions. Based upon this and EU/internal company’s standards the employee is going to make detailed 3D model, drawings and manufacturing documentation plus descriptions in close collaboration with the EU team.

The focus candidates have a background as mechanical design engineer, experience in designing mechanical apparatus/machine elements and, preferably, strong understanding of hygienic requirements and standards (including Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards), especially in dairy sector.

Profile

Key requirements:

· 2+ years' experience in mechanical design engineering (preferrably 5+)

· Experienced user of Autodesk Inventor (latest versions)

· Must be systematic and with «an eye» for details

· Good communication skills

· English — Intermediate / B1 or above

· Willing to work in the EU/North America 2-3 weeks at a time (after the end of the war)

Advantage if:

· Availability of biometric international passport with possibility to travel abroad – big advantage

· Experience in designing stainless steel equipment for the food and beverages industry, especially in the dairy sector — big advantage

· Strong understanding of hygienic requirements and standards (including Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards) — big advantage

· B. Sc./M. Sc. in Mechanical Design Engineering

· Experience using Autodesk Vault

· Experience with FEM analyses

· Experience with stress calculations
