Quality engineer, UA

We are looking for a proactive Quality Engineer who will drive food safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across the factory. This role ensures effective implementation of HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, GMP, hygiene standards, and JDE corporate requirements. You will work cross?functionally with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Global Quality teams to maintain world?class product quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain HACCP system: risk assessments, HACCP plans, verification & validation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, Ukrainian legislation, and corporate standards.
• Prepare the site for internal, external, certification, and governmental audits.
• Implement and monitor GMP, hygiene, sanitation, and foreign body prevention programs.
• Investigate quality incidents, foreign materials, and drive corrective & preventive actions.
• Manage pest control program with external partners and initiate improvements.
• Support supplier and service provider evaluations from a food safety perspective.
• Develop and update quality procedures, work instructions, and sanitation programs.
• Deliver hygiene, GMP, and HACCP training for employees, contractors, and new hires.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through MOS / Lean tools and Quality Pillar routines.
• Review and approve raw material & packaging specifications, support SAP incidents (BPO role).
