Nestle Ukraine announces a competition for the position of Veterinary Channel Development Manager of the  Animal Feed Department in  Kyiv.  

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Ensures the implementation of the Regional Business Strategy for the development of the Purina Petker Veterinary Channel, defines and creates an operational plan and manages the achievement of KPIs of the Veterinary Channel of Ukraine
  • Ensures the correctness of plans for the promotion of Purina Petcare Brands in the veterinary channel in accordance with the Regional Business Strategy through the implementation of the Recommendation Model
  • Manages the fixed marketing budget (Product Fixed Marketing Expenses (PFME)) of the veterinary channel. Ensures the achievement of PFME spending targets in accordance with the recommendations of the Specialized Channel Manager. Proposes solutions on priority tasks for approval by the Line Manager
  • Analyzes the organizational structure of the Purina Petker Veterinary Channel, develops, approves with the Line Manager and implements changes to optimize personnel costs.
  • Ensures the implementation of KPIs: the level of number of recommendations, the level of trust in Purina Petcare products, the level of trust in Purina Petcare Brands among veterinarians, the growth of the active customer base of the Veterinary Channel, the ROI of the tools implemented in the Recommendation Model, etc.
  • Participates in the development of a plan to support the activities of the Specialized Channel for working with Key Opinion Leaders in Veterinary Medicine and Veterinary Communities, ensures the implementation of the plan on the Veterinary Channel of Ukraine
  • Analyzes competitors' strategies in the field of forming product recommendations in the animal feed category, as well as their activities and methods of implementing the strategy in the Clients of the Veterinary Channel of Ukraine. Presents information to the line manager and Senior Managers to form further actions
  • Develops mechanics of motivational programs for veterinary clinics and veterinarians aimed at increasing recommendations, knowledge of Purina Petcare Brands, as well as sales in the Specialized Channel and recommends their use to the Company's partners
  • Develops and updates the classification of Clients of the Veterinary Channel of Ukraine for the purpose of market monitoring, drawing up effective routes for visits to veterinary clinics and Retail Outlets, and properly defining goals.
  • Analyzes the Veterinary Channel client base and develops tools that allow for the prompt connection of new veterinary clinics to cooperation with the Company. Coordinates the developed tools with the Line Manager and implements them in the work.
  • Analyzes opportunities for interaction between Veterinary Clinics that do not work with the animal feed category and Pet Stores in order to transform veterinarian recommendations into sales of Purina Petker products. Develops, approves with the Line Manager and implements appropriate control tools
  • Monitors and expands the active client base (clinics that purchase Purina Petcare products) of state veterinary clinics through participation in tenders, in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures and in order to increase the distribution of Purina Petcare products in these Clients
  • Develops a long-term plan to increase the distribution of Purina Petcare Products in veterinary clinics. Coordinates the developed plan with employees of the Specialized Channel structural unit responsible for sales, as well as the Line Manager. Responsible for the implementation of the agreed plan
  • Develops measures aimed at improving the efficiency and quality of work of department employees; manages work efficiency by reviewing and approving performance improvement plans (Performance Improvement Plan (PIP)) in the form approved by the Company, on behalf of the line manager.

 

Basic requirements :

  • Higher economic or veterinary education
  • Experience in positions of veterinary channel manager or sales manager
  • People management and sales experience
  • Experience working and building commercial relationships with leading thought leaders and Specialized Communities
  • Experience in organizing large events, seminars and exhibitions
  • High adaptability and ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to work with complex cross-functional teams
  • Pet owner (preferred)
  • Ukrainian – fluent; English – fluent
  • Category B driving license.
