Compliance Manager

For our client, an international pharmaceutical company, we are looking for Compliance Manager. 

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

Purpose of the role:  leading and managing Compliance function for ensuring that the organization operates in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.  

Reporting: Compliance Manager operationally reports to General Manager Ukraine, functionally – to global Legal and Compliance function. 

Team: no direct reports  

Location:  Kyiv (hybrid, for the moment mainly remote, visiting office based on a business need).

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations relevant to the organization's operations and update compliance programs accordingly.
• Review and assess third parties as part of Due Diligence process.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into business processes and practices.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities.
• Prepare and submit reports to regulatory bodies and senior management as required.
• Know and fulfill the requirements of regulations on labor protection, fire safety, sanitation and occupational health.
• Report adverse events regarding the Company's products within the framework of important procedures known to him/her.
• Acting as Business Partner for the company and promote principles and values of the company.
• Contribute to positioning the Company as a socially responsible and ethical company, enhancing the Company's culture as expressed in the Company's mission, vision, Values and policies and procedures.

Profile of the person we are looking for: 

• Strong 5+ years of practical Compliance and Legal experience is a must
• High Degree in Law
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong business partnership, effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to inculcate culture of growth and continuous improvement
• Excellent knowledge of Languages – written and oral: Ukrainian and English
