CEMARK has an exciting opportunity to join the CAPEX Projects team as a CapEx Quality Engineer who will be responsible for implementing the quality system at all stages of capital investment projects: during the design phase and supplier selection, equipment manufacturing and incoming inspection, in accordance with the approved CRH Requirements and Procedures. The specialist oversees the implementation and operation of the quality system in Capex projects. Proficiency in Excel and the ability to coordinate work between various specialists are essential. 

Key responsibilities:

Implementation of a quality management system during the design phase:

- Ensuring that the key technical requirements for the equipment are taken into account in accordance with the prevailing operating conditions.

- Analysis of source data and ensuring that equipment manufacturing requirements are met, taking into account the need to obtain the necessary permits (passports on equipment).

- Ensuring that the project complies with regulatory requirements and quality standards (Ukraine, CRH).

Implementation of a quality management system during the equipment supplier selection process:

- Ensuring that the RFQ accordance with all CRH requirements and procedures during the design phase.

- Engaging an independent inspection  service (third party) to organise quality control during the manufacture and acceptance of equipment.

Quality control of equipment manufactured for Capex projects:

- Ensuring approval of the developed Quality Control Plan, which must include a description of all control procedures, the scope of inspections and measurements, as well as the forms of reporting documentation confirming the quality of the work carried out and the materials used.

- Verification of inspection reports during the manufacturing or acceptance stages of equipment.

Incoming inspection:

- Ensuring that incoming inspections are carried out on the basis of supporting documentation confirming the quality and quantity of equipment, as well as verifying that the actual condition of equipment and components complies with the requirements of standards, technical specifications, the supply contract, etc.

Quality control on the construction site:

-  Ensuring that the equipment suppliers’ recommendations are followed during installation. 

- Ensuring that spot checks are carried out on the quality of work and materials where necessary.

Requirements:

Engineering Expertise:

- Degree in Civil or Mechanical or Electrical or Structural Engineering, etc.

- Proven ability to develop and assess technical solutions across technical disciplines.

- Strong understanding of utilities, process equipment layout and industrial systems.

Legal and Regulatory Knowledge:

- Understanding of regulatory documents, in particular DBN, DSTU, ISO, DIN etc.

Experience Requirements:

- Experience in industrial/infrastructure projects.

- Experience in the cement industry or heavy industry is highly preferred.

Communication and Coordination Skills:

- Strong coordination capabilities across disciplines and with external stakeholders.

- Ability to clearly present technical information to project managers, procurement, and operations.

Tool and Process Knowledge: 

- Proficiency in MS Office, and design collaboration platforms. 

- Familiarity with document control systems (e.g., SharePoint).
