Senior Scientific Specialist

As a Senior Scientific Specialist at L’Oreal Ukraine, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that our product communication reflects L’Oreal’s commitment to scientific excellence while meeting all legal and regulatory requirements. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide scientific expertise, and contribute to projects that shape the future of beauty.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

• Compliance Champion: Ensure all product communication adheres to legal requirements, industry standards, and L’Oreal’s strategy.
• Claims Validator: Validate product claims and communication materials, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and deadlines.
• Risk Assessor: Evaluate potential legal, regulatory, and media risks associated with product claims and communication.
• Scientific Advisor: Provide scientific, technical, and regulatory expertise to internal stakeholders, including marketing, R&I, and legal teams.
• Science Advocate: Support initiatives that promote L’Oreal as a science-driven company, including external communication and partnerships.
• Trendspotter: Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and scientific advancements, identifying key changes and their potential impact on L’Oreal’s business.
• Operational Support: Contribute to the smooth running of the department’s daily operations and ensure alignment with global and regional strategies.

We Are Looking For

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for science and a strong analytical mind.

You should have:

• A degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, or a related field.
• Experience in scientific communication, regulatory affairs, or product claims validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive and enthusiastic approach, with a genuine interest in the beauty industry.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
