Chief Accountant (UA)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and responsible Chief Accountant to become a key member of our team. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of Ukrainian legislation and extensive experience with all aspects of accounting.

Key Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant (experience in a manufacturing company is a plus).

• Deep knowledge of accounting, tax, and management accounting principles.

• Confident experience with import operations and foreign economic activities (FEA). Knowledge of customs clearance and currency transaction specifics.

• Proven experience in accounting for government contracts and understanding the specifics of budget funding.

• Software Proficiency

• Higher education in a relevant field (accounting, audit, finance).

• Personal Skills: High level of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a multitasking environment.

• English-Upper-Intermediate and higher

Responsibilities:

The Chief Accountant will be responsible for organizing and managing the company's accounting and tax records.

Core Responsibilities:

• Organize and oversee the accounting of all business operations, including the import of components, manufacturing, and sales of finished products.

• Prepare and submit financial, tax, and statistical reports to the relevant authorities.

• Interact with regulatory bodies during audits and inspections.

• Ensure compliance with financial discipline and legal requirements.

• Manage accounting for state contracts and control the targeted use of funds.

• Optimize tax burdens and internal business processes.

• Oversee the calculation and process payroll and HR records.
