| Role Summary

We are seeking an energetic Junior Sales Manager to join our event sales team. You’ll be responsible for selling exhibition booths to brands, sponsors, and service providers for our high-impact health and wellness expos held in major US cities. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to develop B2B sales expertise in the fast-growing events and wellness space.


| Primary Responsibilities


Prospecting & Lead Generation

Identify and research potential exhibitors (e.g., fitness equipment manufacturers, supplement brands, wellness tech firms, health devices) across target markets.

Outbound Outreach

Personalized emails, and LinkedIn outreach to secure interest.

Presentation

Showcase the benefits of offerings – square footage, placement, branding opportunities, and attendee traffic estimates, such as speaking slots or sponsor signage.

Quote & Proposal Creation

Customize proposals to match exhibitor goals, and negotiate terms within approved pricing guidelines.

Deal Management

Move prospects through the sales pipeline into the CRM, track commitments, and ensure contracts are signed and deposits collected.

Event Coordination Support

Liaise with the event operations team to confirm logistics (layout, utilities, shipping, setup times) and keep exhibitors informed of deadlines.

Relationship Building

Maintain post-sale contact, gather feedback, and identify upsell opportunities (e.g., additional sponsorship packages).

Reporting & Forecasting

Monitor key metrics (calls, meetings, pipeline value, closed-won booths), and produce sales forecasts.

Market Intelligence

Stay current on health-and-wellness trends, competitor expos, and emerging exhibitor needs to refine sales tactics.


| Skills


Communication

Excellent English. Strong verbal and written skills; ability to convey value propositions clearly to diverse business audiences.

CRM Proficiency

Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms; comfortable logging activities and managing pipelines.

Organizational Skills

Ability to juggle multiple prospects and event timelines simultaneously.

Tech Savvy

Basic proficiency with Google Workspace, presentation tools, and comfortable using video-conference tools.

Motivation

Goal-oriented, resilient in the face of rejection, and eager to learn from senior mentors.

Interest in Wellness

Passion for health-and-wellness topics is a strong plus (helps build credibility with exhibitors).


| Preferred (But Not Mandatory)

  • Experience selling exhibition or sponsorship space at trade shows, conferences, or festivals.
  • Knowledge of the U.S. health-and-wellness market (e.g., major brands, emerging startups).
  • Exposure to consultative selling frameworks such as SPIN or Challenger.
