SEO Specialist

Job Description:

• We are seeking an SEO Specialist to help us improve our search engine rankings, increase organic traffic, and ensure that our content is aligned with the latest SEO best practices. 
• This is a remote, freelance position with a preference for candidates based in Spain or Ukraine. The role will focus on optimizing both the technical and content aspects of SEO for our website and blog.

Responsibilities: 

• SEO Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to improve the organic search performance of our website and blog. 
• Keyword Research & Optimization: Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and implement on-page SEO strategies to boost ranking for relevant search terms. 
• Content Optimization: Review and optimize existing blog content, landing pages, and website copy for SEO best practices (keyword density, meta descriptions, internal linking, etc.). 
• Technical SEO: Audit the website for technical SEO issues (site speed, mobile optimization, sitemap, indexing, etc.) and work with our development team to resolve them. 
• Link-Building & Outreach: Implement ethical, white-hat link-building strategies to improve domain authority and search engine rankings. 
• Competitor Analysis: Perform ongoing competitor analysis to identify new opportunities for growth and SEO improvements. 
• Documentation: Review process and improvements with PhoenixFire team and make recommendations to maintain strong SEO for future blog posts and website expansions.

Requirements: 

• Freelance Experience: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver results on deadline.
• Preferred Location: Candidates based in Spain or Ukraine are preferred due to time zone considerations and regional focus. 
• Proven Experience: experience in SEO, preferably for small businesses or nonprofits. 
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of technical SEO, including website audits, performance optimization, and mobile-first indexing. 
• Content Knowledge: Expertise in optimizing blog posts and web content for SEO, with experience in keyword research and on-page optimization. 
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or Ahrefs. 
• Communication: Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. Spanish or Ukrainian language proficiency is a plus.
