We’re Applyft— an IT product company which creates value-driven mobile apps. Our journey began with the Geozilla family locator product, but now our portfolio consists of 8 apps in Family Safety, Entertainment and Mental Health Spheres.
Now we are looking for a Strong Junior QA to join our team.
What you’ll do:
- Manual testing of the web application (desktop and mobile web);
- Verification of UI, API, business logic, analytics, and payment scenarios;
- Requirement analysis, writing test cases and test scenarios;
- Bug verification and retesting;
- Participation in team QA processes: planning, daily standups, retrospectives;
- Collaboration with developers, product managers, and designers;
- Running and monitoring automated test suites (Python + Selenium), analyzing failures, and collaborating with devs on fixes.
About You:
- Minimum 1 years of experience in web application testing;
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies;
- Knowledge of various testing types: functional, regression, cross-browser, responsive testing;
- Ability to create test cases, checklists, and bug reports;
- Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira);
- Experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman, Swagger;
- Confident use of browser DevTools (Network, Console, Elements tabs);
- Basic skills in working with SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases (e.g., querying, data validation);
- Understanding of analytics tracking and experience validating events in Amplitude, Gismart, Appsflyer etc.;
- Experience validating integration with payment providers (e.g.,Stripe, PayPal, Braintree);
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript;
- Experience working with Git;
- English level: Intermediate (able to read documentation and write test reports).
Will be a plus:
- Experience with automated testing (e.g., Python, Selenium);
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test integration;
- Working with sandbox payment cards.
