Accountant Specialist

Currently we're looking for a Accountant Specialist to join our Finance Team.

What you should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; 
• 5 years of experience in Accountancy, preferably in IT or companies providing business internationally; 
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and accounting tools (1C, BAS corp, Medok); 
• At least Intermediate English level; 
• Knowledge of Ukrainian Accounting Standards and Ukrainian Tax legislation, including Diia city tax law; 
• Flexibility and readiness to work in a dynamic environment; 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and time management skills; 
• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential, as is the ability to work effectively as part of a team. 
   

Will be a plus: 

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, as well as tools like Pandadoc; 
• Prior experience working with one of the Big 4 auditing firms
• ACCA/CIPA/CIMA/DipIFR qualification

What you will work on:

• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness; - Organize and store all financial data for easy retrieval; 
• Record daily financial transactions, including income, expenses, accounts payable, and receivable; 
• Reconcile accounts, ledgers, and bank statements regularly; 
• Prepare and file tax returns in accordance with regulations; 
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and optimize tax strategies; 
• Communicate with tax authorities and manage tax audits if necessary; 
• Process employee payroll, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and benefits; 
• Prepare payroll tax reports and ensure timely payment of payroll taxes; 
• Participation in various projects and ad hoc assignments upon request.
