A new company in the field of legal gambling in Ukraine is looking for a highly qualified Senior System Administrator (Network and Server) / CIO to join our team.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in network and system administration roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Proven core IT components experience: AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, FTP, WDS, PowerShell, Firewalls (Kerio, Squid), switches, routers, VPN, encryption, storage, databases, virtualization Hyper-V
- Experience with network equipment Fortigate, Cisco, Mikrotik (including Cloud Hosted Router - CRH) and a good understanding of network protocols
- Knowledge of server hardware, experience in building and maintaining virtual hosts ESXI and virtual clusters on VMware (vSphere, vSan)
- Experience in building, optimizing and troubleshooting VPN tunnels: Excellent knowledge of MS Servers, MS Windows, MS Office, Office 365
- Hardware maintenance: PC, Laptop, Routers, Switches, Printers
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Ukrainian and English at B1 level
- Experience with Google Workspace and Apple OS (MacOS, iOS) is a plus
- Experience of working with various DCs (dedicated servers/cloud + CRH)
- Skills in working with video surveillance and access control systems
Responsibilities:
- Improve current IT infrastructure and implement new features
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices to safeguard network and systems
- IT infrastructure support
- Implementation of new IT systems for the needs of the company
- Construction, maintenance and monitoring of local network and network equipment, traffic routing settings
- Diagnose and solve infrastructure issues and outages through effective troubleshooting
- Monitor server performance and auxiliary equipment
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability, and security of network and system infrastructure
- Implement monitoring tools and practices for proactive issue identification and resolution
