Financial manager

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and empathetic Financial Controller to join our international team with entities in Estonia and Ukraine. You will report directly to the Senior Financial Controller and focus on financial control — not bookkeeping or accounting — with a strong emphasis on reporting, planning, and internal coordination.

We already have dedicated accounting teams in both Ukraine and Estonia who handle all bookkeeping, taxes, and statutory compliance. Your role will involve collaboration with those teams — making sure financial data is collected, understood, and structured properly for reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Track FOP-related payments and supporting documentation
• Maintain and follow up on internal invoice flows and contract signings
• Liaise with accounting teams in Ukraine and Estonia to ensure timely and accurate inputs
• Keep finance trackers and Excel reports up to date and well organized
• Support the Senior Financial Controller with data requests, finance dashboards, and process improvements
• Help prepare simple contracts and templates for internal use

Hard Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Good knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formatting, formulas)
• Familiarity with finance/accounting systems like QuickBooks, 1С, Odoo, or Microsoft Dynamics — preferred but not required
• Experience with Ukrainian FOP documentation — a plus
• English proficiency (B2+ written and spoken)

Note: While you will not be doing accounting entries yourself, understanding how accounting systems work will help you collaborate effectively with our accounting teams.
