Job Description:
As a Java Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side components of our database oriented applications. You will work closely with the front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant software solutions.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Java and related technologies.
• API Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between the front-end and the server.
• Database Management: Design and implement database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the application, including optimizing database queries and server-side code.
• Testing: Write unit tests, integration tests, and perform code reviews to ensure the quality and reliability of the codebase.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and QA engineers, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including debugging and root cause analysis.
• Code Maintenance: Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices and apply them to ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience of 5 years as a Java Backend Developer.
• Proficiency with databases: Oracle, MS SQL, Postgres, Mysql
• Experience with RESTful API design and development
• Familiarity with A/I programming is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• At least Intermediate English level.
