Senior Finance Officer
BACKGROUND
HELVETAS is the largest Swiss nongovernmental organization with a dual mandate for long term development and humanitarian response. It has been present in Ukraine for several years implementing development projects mainly through local partners.
During 2022 HELVETAS initiated emergency assistance. Currently, we are building our operational presence to deliver a comprehensive response to the current humanitarian crisis. HELVETAS plans to be active in Ukraine for the next 5 years.

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY
The position holder works under the direction of the Finance manager based in Kyiv.
Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping in the BAF accounting system (Local accounting system)
- Check the Financial report of the Beneficiaries (NGOs, Partner organizations, individuals)
- Preparation of funds requests
- Support team members in different request
- Preparation of Muster Budget
- Preparation and crosschecking reports in Banana accounting
- Preparation reports for the Donors with other finance officers and finance manager
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Perfect experience in initiatives and solution
- Strong computer skills in MS Office programs particularly Excel, 1C, BAS.
- Strong organizational skills as well as attention to detail
- Advanced English level (strong B2 or C1)
