Зараз ми шукаємо кандидата на посаду асистента/асистентки із забезпечення санітарно-гігієнічних норм (WASH Health Promoter Assistant) для роботи у місті Миколаїв.

Обов'язки:

- Проведення інформаційних сесій з питань санітарії та гігієни в місцях масового проживання населення 

- Організація та участь у роботі груп з питань здоров'я та гігієни 

- Моніторинг стану санітарно-гігієнічних умов в об'єктах громадського використання 

- Співпраця з місцевими органами влади та іншими партнерами для забезпечення виконання санітарно-гігієнічних норм 

Вимоги:

- Вища освіта в галузі гігієни, громадського здоров'я або суміжній галузі 

- Досвід роботи у сфері санітарії та гігієни буде перевагою 

- Відмінні комунікативні навички та здатність працювати в команді 

- Впевнене володіння українською мовою, знання англійської мови - бажано

WASH Health Promoter Assistant oversees the implementation of the soft component of the WASH intervention strategy to achieve the results expected within the framework of the project. Ensures that the outputs of the project(s) oversee are achieved.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• To implement WASH projects’ work plans, monitor progress against targets.
• View, supervision and monitoring of hygiene promotion activities.
• Submit to the WASH Team Leader regular (weekly) and timely monitoring reports with needs, findings, gaps and recommendations. 
• Liaise with the WASH Engineering team on a regular basis to coordinate on type of interventions, communication strategy, monitoring issues and challenges.
• Actively contribute to discussions on WASH project design, implementation and monitoring with the aim to improve program quality, maximize efficiency, impact and integrated WASH approach.
• In collaboration with the WASH Team Leader and WASH Coodinator participates in designing strategies and objectives for improved support to beneficiaries and contributes actively in its monitoring, evaluation and revision.
• Participates in conducting initial and regular assessments of the WASH project and activities outcomes according to the MEAL plan.
• Plans and organizes WASH NFIs distributions.
• Plans and conducts IEC campaigns to ensure that WASH-related messages are effectively transmitted to beneficiaries through establishing dialogues (meetings and other communication means).
• Organize/facilitate group awareness sessions regarding hygiene practices for men/women and children in community.
• Support the WASH team in the follow-up of the water quality surveillance plan.
• Organize and conduct initial and regular assessments, PDMs/KIIs/KAP surveys and activities outcomes according to the MEAL plan.
• Participates in ensuring project compliance with WASH cluster guidelines, SPHERE, HAP, Fund procedures and standards, IASC Guidelines and humanitarian and protection principles.
• Ensure visibility of the project and maintain strong networking within the humanitarian community and stakeholders.
• Perform other management orders as necessary.
• Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes.
• Complies with labor discipline, labor protection and safety rules, fire-prevention requirements, industrial sanitation and labor hygiene rules, Safety, and Environmental regulations and guidelines

Competencies & requirements

• User of MS Office, Internet, drawing programs, etc.
• Knowledge of mobile data collection platforms (e.g., KoboToolbox or other ODK-based including XLS form coding and troubleshooting) is desirable.
• Knowledge of labor discipline, labor protection and safety rules, fire-prevention requirements, industrial sanitation and labor hygienerules.
• Personal qualities: organization, responsibility, analytical thinking, attention to details, flexibility, self-learning, focus on results.
• English В1/В2

Qualifications

• University degree 
• Work experience of 1years or more in the field of design, construction and WASH, project management, performing similar functions 
• Work experience from 6-month experience in NGOs/On-site training in field work
