Job Description / Responsibilities
The primary objective of the Bookkeeper is to perform and manage all accounting-related processes for our foreign subsidiaries of the Group.
- Leading the reporting period closing process for foreign subsidiaries, including general ledger accounts for Bank, Accounts Payable and Payroll Control Accounts;
- Accounting for bank transactions (posting in accounting software, reconciliation of accounting data to bank statements);
- Accounting for vendor transactions (checking source documents and posting in accounting software, performing account reconciliations);
- Accounting for customer transactions (adjusting integrated customer invoices and sending the revised invoices to customers);
- Manage and organize essential documentation;
- Other ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned to meet changing business needs and departmental objectives.
Qualifications / Experience required:
- University degree in accounting
- 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping;
- Good knowledge of accounting principles;
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
Skills / Competencies required:
- Fluent in English language (read, written, spoken);
- Ability to work with a global finance team remotely;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills;
- High level of responsibility and result-orientated;
- Ability and desire to learn.
