The Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine (PFRU) is a multi-donor programme funded by the governments of Canada, Estonia, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, and the US. PFRU’s objective is to strengthen Ukraine’s resilience in the face of Russian aggression by delivering essential support to local communities in collaboration with the Ukrainian government, civil society, and the private sector. Implemented by Chemonics UK, PFRU works in close coordination with the Government of Ukraine, international partners, and local communities to deliver targeted assistance that strengthens institutions, enhances economic and social resilience, and supports communities affected by the war. Key focus areas include: - Community resilience – supporting locally driven initiatives that promote stability and recovery. - Institutional capacity building – strengthening governance and public services to respond to emerging challenges. - Strategic communications – countering disinformation and fostering social cohesion. - Infrastructure rehabilitation – restoring essential services and rebuilding critical facilities in communities.
