Manager, Accounting & Tax Services / Remote Work

US-based accounting, tax, and advisory practice is looking for an experienced Manager, Accounting & Tax Services, to join our expanding team.

As a Manager, Accounting & Tax Services your main responsibility will be to provide outstanding service to our small and medium business clientele. We interact with our clients on a frequent basis and our systems keep workflow running smoothly throughout the year. You will perform research on tax laws and regulations for various jurisdictions and different types of tax, conduct analysis and help our clients with ongoing business and tax planning. 

Your responsibilities will also include identifying new business opportunities, growing our client network, selling our services to new and existing clients, and helping the owner with practical operations management.

Knowledge & Experience:

To fulfill the role the candidate is expected to meet the following requirements:  

• Master's degree in accounting, finance, taxation, economics or business administration
•  Ability to lead tax research projects and maintain current knowledge of tax regulations affecting our clients
• Monitor proposed changes in tax laws and evaluate their impact on the clients.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the practice management and work with key personnel on various ad hoc projects
• Practical experience in financial and tax modeling and budgeting.
• Advanced knowledge of structure and content of financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS
• Any exams/parts passed on professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, DipIFR) is an advantage
• At least B2 English, fluent Ukrainian

• Complex thinking skills in translating customer needs into solutions
• Professional presence, including excellent written communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously on a day-to-day basis 
• Ability to interact with all personality styles as well as various cultural backgrounds
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills required 
• Advanced computer skills, proficiency with MS Excel is a must 
• CRM (Creative experience is a plus
