2D Artist (Part-time)
About the role:
This is a part time hourly payed role for our game Alien Survivor: Survival Arena.
You have 3+ years experience as a 2D Artist in creating characters and environment for midcore games. You are able to work independently in a fast changing environment, take ownership over creating characters for the growing game, which includes references, sketching, creating vectorised characters, and being the consultant to business.

Our expectations from you:
- 3+ year of experience as 2D Artist in a production environment;
- High art skills including sketching, illustration, and painting;
- Experience and portfolio in creating Casual Characters and Environment;
- Proficient in modern art packages;
- Strong Knowledge of shape design, composition and forms;
- Strong understanding of shape abstraction and stylization of 2d character’s;
- Strong understanding of all aspects of concept art regarding Illustration and design;
- Strong knowledge of Photoshop (especially Pen tool);
- Good collaborative and communication skills;
- Ukrainian language — native or advanced level.
What will you do:
- Create high quality Casual Characters and Environment;
- Work closely with manager producing high-quality art in an iterative process;
- Make sketches and story boards to communicate ideas to art team and beyond;
- Create 2D assets (2D stylized characters, game icons, 2D art assets, 2D backgrounds);
- Create 2D assets (vectorised) which are animation ready (separated layers etc).
