Position Purpose 

In close collaboration and under the direct supervision of the Healthofficer/Medical coordinator, supporting the implementation of the fieldactivities at the Local level. Assists in implementing the BHA Program’sapproved Health Sector Strategy. Being responsible for theimplementation of Health Sector medical activities and resources in theassigned territorial level, in accordance with all DoS and Project HOPEpolicies, with consideration of international and national protocols, toensure the delivery of quality medical care for patients and theircommunities, as well as to improve the health condition andhumanitarian living conditions of the target population

Main Responsibilities

• Support the health team in responding to humanitarianemergencies under the supervision of the line manager
• Assist in assessing healthcare needs of hospitals and primaryhealthcare facilities, including data collection and reporting findings tothe supervisor
• Support health and humanitarian needs assessments in the area ofintervention• Assist in the establishment and operational support of MobileMedical Units (MMUs) and Local Medical Units (LMUs), CCTA.
• Support planning and coordination of medical supply distributions tohealthcare facilities based on identified needs
• Assist the health and logistics teams in the preparation of medicalkits and organization of distributions
• Participate in field visits to healthcare facilities (as securityconditions allow) to support monitoring activities and collectrelevant data
• Assist in organizing and coordinating training activities forhealthcare personnel
• Support the collection, compilation, and timely submission ofproject data and reports
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of activities in linewith program requirements• Support coordination with healthcare facility staff and localpartners to facilitate implementation of project activities
• Assist in communication and coordination with relevantstakeholders, including NGOs and local authorities, under theguidance of the supervisor
• Provide inputs for situational updates related to health needs,humanitarian context, and field operations
• Support identification of operational challenges and escalate issues tothe supervisor for timely resolution
• Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by the line manager

Educational background: University degree/bachelor’s degree in medicine or Nursery, Public health, Pharma.

Years of Experience:  Completion of relevant specialization (if applicable) or final years ofinternship. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in clinical practicewithin the medical sector. Previous experience with NGOs is consideredan asset.

Language Skills : Ukrainian – fluent. Fluency in English and excellent writing skills are required, minimum English requirement: B2/C1
