The best 5 star hotel in Ukraine — Hyatt Regency Kyiv Hotel is looking for an energetic, professional, and sociable individual to join our Finance team as а Accounts Receivable Accountant.

The Role Key Responsibilities:

• Issue accurate invoices and acts for individual, corporate, group, and event-related charges in iScala.
• Communicate with clients regarding invoices, payment schedules, and outstanding balances.
• Track outstanding balances, follow up on overdue accounts, and maintain a healthy aging report.
• Ensure proper routing of charges for corporate clients, travel agencies, and groups.
• Reconcile Opera folios with AR sub-ledgers and financial system entries.
• Collaborate with Front Office and Reservations teams to correct posting errors and ensure billing accuracy.
• Posting bank payments in iScala.
• Work closely with Sales, Events, and Front Office teams to verify group billing, banquet charges, and contract terms.
• Support month-end closing by providing accurate AR data, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Meets and greets all guests and assists them with registrations.
• Respond to all internal and external customer requests on a timely basis with accurate responses.
• Ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and internal hotel policies and procedures.
• Assisting the Finance team with any support that they require.
• Maintaining positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.

Key selection criteria:

• Previous experience working in hotels or similar large establishments.
• Minimum of 2-3 years' of working experience as Accounts Receivable.
• Well-groomed, friendly and with a warm personality.
• Strong working knowledge of English Language (written and spoken).
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.
• Good communication skills for interacting with clients and internal departments.
• Experience with Opera PMS and iScala it is a big advantage, but we are ready to provide necessary training.
• Computer literacy.
• Good administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and work as a team player.
