Deputy Chief Accountant (Заступник Головного Бугалтера)

AltexSoft is looking for a strong accounting professional in Ukraine and abroad to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of accounting and tax reporting across all group companies (Ukraine and foreign jurisdictions). 

The role includes maintaining data quality, meeting reporting deadlines, and coordinating processes with the internal accounting team and external service providers.

You Have

Experience

• Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• 7+ years of accounting experience
• 3+ years as Chief Accountant or Deputy Chief Accountant
• Experience working with group structures and/or non-resident entities
• Experience working with auditors
  
  Professional Knowledge
• Ukrainian accounting standards
• Ukrainian tax legislation (including sole proprietors)
• Ukrainian labor and HR legislation
• Currency regulation
• Practical VAT experience
• English level B2 or higher

• High attention to detail and deadlines
• Ability to make independent decisions
• Structured and systemic thinking
• Team-oriented mindset and professional communication

       Would be a Plus

• IFRS knowledge
• Experience with transfer pricing and export/import operations
• Understanding of US accounting (provider oversight level)
• Additional languages
  
  Tools
• 1C 8.3 (UTP)
• MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
• QuickBooks (as a plus)

Group Accounting & Tax

• Organize and oversee accounting and tax records across all group companies
• Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closings (journal entries, reconciliations, liabilities, primary documentation)
• Monitor tax calculations, filings, and payments
