Junior Developer (Cybersecurity & Data Engineering Focus)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Developer with a strong passion for cybersecurity, data analysis, and automation. In this role, you will work on creating and optimizing Logstash pipelines, analyzing logs and events from security tools, and contributing to our threat detection and response capabilities. This is a great opportunity to enter the cybersecurity field and work alongside experienced professionals in a modern and international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Logstash pipelines to parse and enrich log data from diverse sources.

• Analyze logs and events generated by security products like antivirus, firewalls, and anti-spam tools.

• Contribute to the design and improvement of Elasticsearch data models and queries.

• Collaborate with security analysts and developers to support real-time threat detection.

• Document solutions and share knowledge within the team.

• Continuously learn new tools, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity and data engineering.

Requirements

• Strong interest in cybersecurity, log analysis, and automation.

• Familiarity with Linux, scripting (e.g., Bash or Python), and basic networking concepts.

• Willingness to learn Logstash, Elasticsearch, and related tools (Kibana, Filebeat, etc.).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good understanding of how security tools (AV, firewall, etc.) generate and store logs.

• High level of English proficiency (strict B1) — you will communicate daily with international colleagues.

• Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and grow in a technical and fast-paced environment.

• Experience with Git and working in a collaborative development environment is a plus.
