Unity Engineer

We are a rapidly growing German-based company specializing in the development of innovative software and Artificial Intelligence solutions. Our portfolio includes projects such as integration of chatbots with generative AI into major banks, including leading German banks like Sparkasse and Volksbank. And now we are looking for a talented Middle+/Senior Unity Engineer ready to join our team for a medical initiative project for surgeons in the healthcare field, collaborating with leading company Olympus.  

You will be responsible for: 

• Develop and maintain state machine-based architecture. 

• Ensure the architecture is scalable and maintainable, allowing for easy updates and modifications. 

• Effectively communicate complex technical ideas and solutions to team members and  stakeholders. 

• Navigate and contribute to large and complex code bases, ensuring high code quality and performance. 

• Use Git extensively for version control, managing branches, and resolving conflicts. 

• Follow strict project requirements and coding standards to ensure consistency and quality across the project. 

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. 

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and progress tracking. 

Our requirements are: 

• More than 3 years of experience as a Unity Engineer. 

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing state machine architectures. 

• Proficient in using Dependency Injection patterns and Zenject within Unity  

• Proficient in using Unity's new Input System for handling user inputs. 

• Experience with Unity's Event System, including creating and managing events within the Unity framework. 

• Proven ability to navigate, understand, and enhance a large and complex code base. 

• Experience in working within strict project requirements and adhering to high standards of code quality and performance. 

• Deep understanding and extensive use of Git for version control. 

• Proficiency in managing branches, resolving conflicts, and maintaining a clean and efficient commit history. 

• Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively. 

• Skilled in presenting technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• Experience in integrating and utilizing unmanaged DLLs within Unity projects.
