Educator/Academic consultant/ELT methodologist (full-time/part-time/remote)
Do you have a background in English language teaching? Are you looking for the next step in your career? Dinternal Education, an international educational company and an exclusive Pearson representative in Ukraine, is looking for an academic consultant/ELT methodologist.
For 20+ years, we’ve been working with government, local education, and corporate partners allover Ukraine. Dinternal Education is well known within Ukraine's ELT community for its high standards in teacher training, materials development, and customer support.
As one of Dinternal Education's expanding team of academic consultants, you'll deliver a range of ELT webinars, workshops and consultations to teachers and students. You'll promote innovative methods of working with authentic materials and modern technology.
It is possible to work remotely, however we are looking for candidates based in Ukraine and able to attend occasional offline events. Successful applicants are either employed on a full-time fixed salary contract or as freelancers paid hourly (with fixed working days and hours).
Qualifications and experience required
The successful candidate will need:
- C1 level of English proficiency;
- a minimum of two years of classroom experience in either the state teaching sector (at primary,secondary or university level) or private language school sector;
- an up-to-date knowledge of ELT methodology;
- experience in using modern English language teaching materials;
- preferably hold, or working towards completion of TKT, CELTA, DELTA, etc.
- experience in developing learning materials would be a big plus;
- punctuality, responsibility, attention to detail, self-organisation;
- the experience of working remotely with a team.
Responsibilities and Duties
* conduct book presentations;
* create and deliver teacher-training webinars and workshops;
* develop original resources for English language learning;
* conduct in-house training sessions for the team.
Salary and Benefits
We offer:
- A fixed yearly salary contract.
- Twenty-four days' paid holiday plus sick pay for a full-time contract or pro rata.
- Freelance positions are on offer, and the working schedule and salary are to be discussed individually.
