LEAN specialist

Main Purpose:

Leading the continuous improvement program to improve operational business processes at site level (Lean, Lean Manufacturing Management):

• Leading the process of developing a Lean deployment plan for the site
• Managing implementation process in accordance with the developed plan
• Conducting trainings and working sessions for the Site Leadership Team in order to develop their competencies and skills necessary for the implementation and stable development of the Lean program (Lean Production), as well as for the implementation of an effective Lean Management System
• Coaching and support for the Leadership Team of the site, as well as key specialists in implementing and maintaining the Lean program (the team of matrix subordinates) in the development of Lean manufacturing tools, skills and behaviors that are elements of Lean management through working sessions, individual meetings, development and implementation of individual development plans

Accountabilities:

• Implements Lean (Lean Manufacturing and Management) deployment strategy on site level
• Works with the Head of the Division for the Improvement of Operational Business Processes of the Category (ESSA), the Director of Production of the category, the Team of Site Leaders in order to agree on a strategy, develop a plan for the deployment of the program and monitor its implementation and effectiveness
• Leading the development and deployment of the Lean skills development program (Lean Manufacturing and Lean Management) for all levels of site employees from the frontline to the plant director, including training (trainings), organization of work sessions and individual coaching meetings
• Organizes and conducts trainings and coach sessions with key coaches, experts in physical standards and standard work, developing employees to ensure the effective implementation and sustainable development of the Lean program (Lean Production): identifying value-adding operations, eliminating operations and processes that do not add value, efficient organization of the workspace, standardization of work processes and operations, setting standards, maintaining and improving standards through the QCDM management process
• Through trainings and individual sessions of the Team of Leaders of the site, Lean (Lean Management) and effective behavior models (strategic vision, focus on process efficiency and involvement of employees in the process of continuous improvement) are introduced and provided by the stable progress
• Provides communication of standards and principles for implementing the Lean program on site, and leads the development of plans to ensure compliance with critical requirements
• Organizes the process and ensures the availability of all elements of the Lean culture necessary for the full and timely deployment of the Lean program (Lean Production and Management).
• Provides stability and continuous improvement of Lean culture elements with Lean management system

Key Skills/Experience Required:

Minimum 3 years of leadership experience

• Expert knowledge of the Lean methodology, tools and management system (Lean Manufacturing and Management)
• High level of leadership coaching skills within Lean (Lean Manufacturing and Management), including training and individual coaching sessions
• Ability to lead the Lean program at site level
