Built the entire QA function and automation framework from scratch for a multi-layer application: established testing methodology, infrastructure, and procedures across 5+ testing types, and integrated new testing tools. Created and maintained 600+ automated test cases (94% coverage): 230 desktop application tests using AutoIt with REST API integrations, 120 end-to-end web tests using Playwright/TypeScript, and 250 API/contract/integration tests using Postman and Newman. Implemented complex automated checks combining desktop application testing, Windows Registry validation, browser behavior, SQLite database verification, and backend infrastructure testing. Designed automated smoke and regression suites with a 97% pass rate for CI, and developed VBScript and Visual Build Professional (VBP) scripts for virtual machine orchestration and automated environment management. Set up automated reporting integrated with Slack, Jira, and Confluence. Full automation of regression and performance testing reduced the overall testing cycle by 60% (from 4 days to 1.6 days) and made defect detection and resolution 95% faster. Through performance testing, identified 28+ bottlenecks and improved product performance by 40% (average response time reduced from 3.2s to 1.9s). Applied systematic troubleshooting and root cause analysis to find and fix critical bugs and performance issues.
