Over the course of a year at Mate Academy, I acquired all the essential skills to become a professional designer. It wasn’t just about learning—it was real work. I went through every stage of the design process, from conducting in-depth research to creating complete design systems. The journey was intense and challenging, but that’s what made it so transformative.

The best mentors guided me along the way, evaluating my work, correcting my mistakes, and generously sharing their expertise. Each piece of feedback pushed me to grow and refine my craft. Thanks to this experience, I’ve not only mastered key design tools and methodologies but have also learned how to think critically, approach problems creatively, and deliver solutions that work.

Today, I’m confident in my ability to tackle complex design challenges, knowing that I’ve been shaped by rigorous training and hands-on experience.

Throughout the training, I enhanced my ability to write professional emails, messages, and reports with clarity and purpose. I also learned effective negotiation techniques, improved my job-hunting strategies, and developed confidence in presenting products and services. Each task was crafted to simulate workplace scenarios, ensuring I could apply these skills in a professional environment.

This experience not only sharpened my communication abilities but also gave me the tools to navigate diverse professional contexts with confidence.

The Learning How to Learn course taught me how the brain processes information and organizes it into "chunks" for better retention. I learned effective memory techniques and strategies to overcome procrastination, helping me build productive habits. The course provided research-based methods for tackling complex subjects and taught me how to approach problem-solving more efficiently.

I also gained insights into counter-intuitive test-taking tips and ways to use time more effectively. These skills not only improved my learning but also boosted my confidence in tackling challenges in both academic and professional settings.

After completing the User Experience Design course, I gained a solid foundation in user-centered design principles. I learned how to apply a systematic and data-driven approach to designing effective, efficient, and satisfying user experiences.

The course introduced me to the four-step user interface design cycle, from gathering user needs to evaluating the design to ensure it meets those needs. I also acquired valuable techniques for conducting user research and testing. 

These skills have equipped me with the tools necessary to start creating intuitive and impactful UX designs.

For several years now, I’ve been actively using the Arzamas platform, where I’ve completed over 200 courses on various subjects.

I’ve always been passionate about art and the humanities, particularly economics, anthropology, sociology, and history. These ****fields not only enrich my free time but also shape my thinking, inspiring creative approaches to problem-solving.

The knowledge I’ve gained through Arzamas allows me to see the world more holistically and apply interdisciplinary perspectives in my work. For me, it’s more than just a hobby—it’s a way to maintain intellectual vitality and discover new sources of creative inspiration.
