I was one of the lucky ones who managed to get to the bootcamp from the room8 studio. It was amazing experience and opportunity to work in a team of professionals, to participate in the creation of a realistic environment for games.At the bootcamp, we went through all the stages of creating an asset for implementation in a real project.We started with the development of a detailed pipeline, where we divided the main object into tile, trim and unique objects, after we moved on to the blocking stage, where we explored in detail the scale of the object and his components.Then we began create low, middle, high poly and UV, where we designated the necessary texel density and the number of necessary UV sets, after that we began baking and texturing.The final result was presented in Unreal Engine 5, where decals were added to the building, which were made by hand, as well as vertexpaint, to break the repetition of tile textures.

I have always been interested in the field of gamedev and I really want to work in this sphere. I chose the field of 3d artist because I find it very interesting and creative. My professional path began with self-study tutorials. At today i have experience in creating 3D models for gaming projects, including environmental elements, props, and basic assets. Familiar with subdivision modeling, sculpting, high-poly and low-poly workflows, retopology, UV unwrapping, and texture baking. Have an understanding of PBR texturing, with hands-on experience in procedural and hand-painted techniques to enhance model realism. Knowledge of optimization techniques for game assets, including polycount management and UV mapping for efficient in-game performance. Proficient in 3ds Max, Zbrush and Substance Painter. Basic experience with Unreal Engine for asset integration and simple level setup. Now I feel confident in my choice and strive to become a valuable employee.At this stage, I am improving my skills in modeling and texturing. For me, there is a very important development perspective for constant self-improvement. I will be very glad to get into your company in order to improve the existing knowledge and acquire new ones.
