Responsibilities:

- Securing and maintaining business relationships with carriers and clients.

- Negotiating transportation rates and closely tracking market trends.

- Planning and coordinating transport schedules and routes.

- Problem-solving shipment issues, ensuring client satisfaction.

- Upholding compliance with regulations associated with transporting automobiles.

I have had two months continuous onboard training in the duties and responsibilities of a Photo Manager. Shortly after I took over the duties as a Photo Manager, I was requested as a manager, to close our concession operation. Unfortunately, this was due to Crystal Symphony’s suspension of operation and consequently being arrested in The Bahamas where the vessel was laid up.

My main tasks as a Trainee-Manager and Manager were:

- Observing and learning from the Photo Manager during my training time.

- Completing all assigned tasks in addition to our day-to-day operations.

- Familiarizing myself with company policies, protocols, and processes.

- Following all company regulations, such as health and international ship safety standards.

- Preparing daily documents for the chief accountant and updating company (concession) internal records.

- Closing down our shipboard operation as a concession.
