My name is Yuliia Dachuk, I am Program, Officer, International Medical Corps, worked as GBV OFFICER IMC for 10 months, Kharkiv, Ukraine.

Appreciate the support for Ukraine, the comprehensive support of civilians is our mission.

As I worked for IMC GBV OFFICER for approximately a year, I was performing the partnership and training part, facilitating the activities, started the process and accomplished of the opening WGSS’s in Kharkiv, organized the distribution of 2500 Dignity Kits in Kharkiv oblast’, conducted monitoring visits to our implementing partners in Sumi, started GBV partnership with Kharkiv implementing GBV team, reported to the 5W, represented IMC on GBV Subcluster, UN meetings on General protection and GBV meetings, trained up to 70 specialists on the CORE CONCEPT GBV training of Kharkiv and Kharkiv hromada.

As the Program Officer I fulfill the tasks of the whole program support for the mission in Kharkiv and Sumi hromadas, conduct the meetings with partners, identifying needs of beneficiaries, supporting the program teams while cooperating with beneficiaries and partners.

To alleviate human suffering and reduce the impact of crisis in Ukraine is important for me while performing everyday job, it helps me to feel useful and makes me be proud of myself.
